Lighting pops up every once in a while so I thought I'd share a few tips
from personal experience:

Use bulbs rated for the socket.Don't put a 100W bulb in a 60W socket. You
run the risk of destroying the socket, creating a fire hazard, or you might
cause a rip in time-space warping up all to a universe ruled by highly
intelligent shades of blue.

Don't use flourescent. THey don't produce the right kind of light. I had a
Suneater III that rufused to work along with a few SEs and photopoppers. I
tinkered off and on for a while and then finally gave up. Later I brought
them into another room to sit on a table(great conversation piece...) and
after a while the thing was happily purring along.

Don't put the bulb to close to the table. It will put the light on a little
place then up higher. Not to high or the reverse will happen.

if you think I'm off, then just chock it up to my tiredness. If you get
something out of it, well, I'm still tired, so it's probably just you.

This is based largly on personal experience. Any one else can add to or call
me an idiot if there are reasonable grounds. But in most cases it is
reasonable anyway...
