I don't have an actual BEAM park but my bots usualy hang out on my desk and
live off my 55 watt study lamp and my 75 watt turtle lights that are about 3
feet away from the desk. I'm pretty satisfied with this because I don't have
much time to sit and watch my robots but when I check on them every few hours
they've changed location and that's enough for me. 2.5 feet away from the
light you shouldn't expect too much movement. Try using a lower tigger voltage
for your next bots. 100 watt bulb is a lot for me and discharge every 20
seconds is pretty quick, with my standards. If you want real active bots get
turtle (or lizard) basking lamps and bulbs, my bots go wild under these.
Remeber, however, for real activity you can't (cheaply) replace the sun!
