I sort of guessed, but `non-inductive' might terribly impress the
innocents...

Perhaps you could modify Ben Hitchcocks "Alf" circuit for
SunEater_IV type operation. That would give you lively performance
out of a physically small SuperCap, hopefully without increasing
the component count :)
