Subject: [alt-beam] Re: mercury switches
Well, I'll get in on this, If anyone remembers my microvore entry, Mighty
Mouse, It has two mercury tilt sensors on it. All I did was cut a hole in the
end of a capacitor and pulled out the stuffing. The metal leads were left
inside and it worked perfectly, you just have to patch up the end. If you try
it though, I would suggest bending the top so you can pull the whole rubber
top out and get the stuffing out that way, and bend it back into place when
you are done. No holes or anything.
