Greetings List,
I expressed my thoughts on "great ideas, little action" earlier in the thread
"BEAM Warbotics".
Quoting myself:

idea but doesn't want to do the "hard" part of figuring the details. So the
good idea that has been "thrown up" just stays at that status, while others

It's too bad. I'd really like to see a BEAM ecosystem happen and have it be
the result of a large group project, but I just don't see it happening for the
reasons above. If anyone thinks that we can do it (..sorry to say but I don't)
and is willing to be the "leader". Then I invite them to do it. This doesn't
mean I don't think this is a valid discussion, it is. It's good that we're at
least talking about new ideas and such, but seeing something come of it is
worlds better.
In other news:
Wow, I haven't checked my mail for a few days and suddenly theres too much to
go through!
About my site, it's coming along well and I have only to upload many of the
pages and do a few other small but important things to it. I remember I said
it would be "open" and finished over 2 weeks ago but I haven't found the time.
However, I expect to be done on March 1st when I will announce it to the BEAM
list. This time it will be "opened" whether or not it's completely done!
