Have you built a microcore? Try a Microcore bicore using the 74HC14. See if you
can't get that working (requires external motor driver). Otherwise, keep
practicing. I myself need to order a bunch of chips for expirimentation, and the
20-30 or so for Quadrapod. Hehe! Big BEAM bot!

lpiriment with the values of the resistors and capacitors, and make sure the
photodiodes realy are photodiodes. I've mistakenly used IR LEDs in some older
projects! Oops! Same deal with phototransistors. I'm not sure how they would
react. See if your chip is a 74HCT240. I think that's right. Mine isn't, and
doesn't quite work, and I need to buy plenty parts. (:

Man, I can't sleep either! It's the government man! Expirimentation! Something
at LANL, and headed by Area 51 (which doesn't officialy exist, whether you see
it or not)! Wait, It's probably cause I am waiting for my new G3 to arrive. Why
the hell does the mind torture you when you know something good's going to
happen! Going on a trip, vacation, field trip, getting something new, came up
with cool idea, make a new friend, etc, etc, etc!!! You can NEVER sleep! And
then, after you get it, you get NO sleep as compared to just a little, cause
you're either up all night with the new toy, or you're so pumped full of
adrenaline you couldn't sit still for 10 seconds for a million bucks! AHhhh!
It's a conspiricy. The brain is out to take total control of the body through
tourtu... Wait, it has control of the body! Dang it! It won!!!!! My body's all
mad now! It's hoing to give my brain a headach now and ma it feel tired. This
sucks. I'm right in the missle of it all!
Need sleep... Not normal... I... I'm not this... sarcastic... under normal...
conditions! Hehe! (:
