I took apart a caddy beased SCSI CR-ROM drive, but there wan't much in. I
never
thought to look in a tray type drive! I'm sure other brands have their own
gearing methods. I wish I had a computer shop nearby!
The eject motor in the powerbook is a tiny plastic "brick" gearbotor. VERY
nice!
I'm so tempted to pull it, even though it's good! Probably won't though.
