The motors I'm tng about are the Eject motors from Mac floppy drives. The old
Apple II drives were powered straight from the computer's disk controller card,
so i bet they realy had to consider the motor's curent consumption! How big were
they? Been a long time since I took one of those old drives apart.

As for the motor in my powerbook, it's SMALL!!! Geared nicely too! Watch for
dead or surplus macs for walker motors!
