Oh I wasn't talking about actually killing the flys. Too messy. They would
stick and corrode the contacts. Also, you are overestimating the power of
low amp kilovolts. As ridiculous as it might seem, I used to try to fry
clumps of small ants with a photoflash and a few drops of salt water. I did
stuff like that, I know you CAN kill the flys, (they have a battery powered
thingy) but It certainly doesn't vaporise them. I only had very low
casulties myself. Perhpas something MORE classy is needed. Maybe you could
catch the fly, and then center the fly or fly holder under a powerfull lens
under the sun. That would be art.
