you know, 20kv sounds fun and all, but wouldn't it be cool if you could make
a REAL SOLAR powered fly trap? You could make it solarpowered and experiment
with Muscle wire for control. Or using a mag-bot type deal, make something
that shuts very fast. This way you could make an elegant plantish type beam
animal. Even better, why not make a beam plant that closes itself on a
photovore? And perhaps when it closes it can cover the photovore with little
wires, so as to short the photovore out, and effectively (but temporarilly)
'kill' it.
Thats my idea of a biomorhpic flytrap.
