Subject: [alt-beam] R2D2 - off-topic? may be

I found the following information at:

http://www.pathfinder.com/ParentTime/Entertain/toyfair/topten6.html

What I find interesting is the mention of 7 behaviors one of
these being seeking light. This page does not tell what
the other 6 are but it may be a good challenge to try getting
BEAM based bots to display these. A quick search of the Lego
page did not turn up any information on this product.

R2D2
LEGO Mindstorm's Droid
Developer Kit offers kids
a chance to construct
and program their own
R2D2s. The kits come
complete with over 600
pieces, an instructional
CD-ROM and are
available in three levels
of building difficulty: Apprentice, Jedi
Knight, and Jedi Master. The toy's
internal microcomputer, The
Micro-Scout, comes with a built-in light
sensor, motor, and seven Droid
behaviors to choose from. For example,
kids can program the robot to "seek
light" and the toy will head to the
brightest light in the room.

Ages: 9 and up
