Subject: [alt-beam] SOLAR FLYTRAP

So, you've heard of the Venusian Flytrap? How about a biomorphic version:

The Solar Flytrap (c) wilf rigter 1999

Take your standard BiCore powered SunFlower (solar panel orienting) - and
tucked away in the center of the flower:

DANGER HIGH VOLTAGE

---> 20kVdc <---

DO NOT SMELL THE FLOWER

enough to vaporize the hapless prey. I'm working on a BiCore HV switching
power supply which should be quite efficient. A specific (hold yer nose or
better yet, pheromone) aromatic bait below the electrodes attracts insects
of your choice. With a "window-sill cleaner" bot to sweep up and metabolize
the debri, the sunflower won't be buried by a mountain of fly carcasses and
you'll have your own little symbiotic BEAM ecosystem. Now what "com'n get
it" color should I use?

Any investors out there?
