Many thanks this could be a very useful source of components sine I live In
England
the Mimiki model available is the 7CL has anyone out there any experience
of thi motor ?
I remember some furtive refs to bunt fingers? Is there anything re these
small motors I should look out for?

Measuring:

1) The current and voltage needed to start
2) the current at about 2V when running unloaded

Gives a pretty good indication. You measure the first by slowly
turning up your power supply until it goes, while using peak-hold
mA and V meters.

Here are values for the small recorder motors I used for
SunEater_III:

Start: 30mA @ 0.3V
Run @ 2V: 22mA

Motors that do seriously worse are probably a waste of time.
