Subject: [alt-beam] SEIII creator, web page, & G3
Hello, just asking who created the Sun Eater III, and what the web page is,a nd
if it's OK to post diagrams on my page if I link to yours, or at least link to
yours instead of put up the info (probably more prefered for me, since I've only
built the SE II)
Thank you!
Be prepared for a nice large update soon, including PCBs, Schematics, and stuff
like that. I'll be adding schematics of a few types of solar engines and the
basic photopopper, and I'll also be adding the very strange variation I did on
the Microcore. Put simply, I made a mistake in PCB design that attaches the
H-Bridge's to the point where the resistor and capacitor join (on the input of
the inverter instead of the output). Apparently, the design works and is very
stable! It also has been running the same batteries as it had since early
August! Those Escap motors sure must be efficient or something!
Expect the update in one or two days.
Unless I get my new G3 minitower, in which case, i'll be busy transfering my
hard drive over. I may need to continue using this thing for a while yet though,
since accordig to the place I'm buying the USB modems are out of stock. Who
cares. All i know is that once it's up, I won't need to worry about typing to
fast! This lame little 32 bit 117 MHz powerbook can't keep up with my typing! If
you notice that lines begin with missing letters, that's why! It takes a moment
for it to start registering text after a delete or a return. VERY annoying!
