My CYBUG is BEAM in philosophy ( in my interpretation of BEAM ), but is
not in any way associated with the BEAM trademark. It's only intended
as an exploration into higher-energy robotic lifeforms which need to
aquire energy through a robotic food-chain rather than directly from
sunlight. They have emergent behaviour, no CPU, and are patterned
after life in some respects but...

Real genuine BEAM devices (generally explored on this list) are
patterned after Mark T. technology (or a modification there-of) such as
the micro-core, SE, or photo-popper-like electronics.

So, in my opinion, CYBUG's are not BEAM, they are BEAM-like, but not
BEAM. I am pleased that you appreciate the CYBUG, though, and continue
to experiment with balancing a robotic food chain. ( It's trickier than
you think! One over-zealous predator and the whole chain could
collapse! )

Let's all get back to the real reason for this forum: Building BOTS!
