Yes, there are also 3.3 volt versions used in Pentium II laptops.

There are several reason NOT to use these motors.

First, you cannot easily remove the motor from the fan.

Secondly, their efficiency (as motors) is not very high.

Thirdly, these motors use small hall effect chips and internal switching
logic
to power the coils, so they do not perform much like pager or walkman
motors.
They interrupt power to the coils based on the rotational position of
the fan,
and this will not make your SE very happy.

They are kinda cool if you want a CPU based robot to blow out a candle
in a fire
fighting contest however!
