Perhaps I didn't make myself clear in the original challenge. The
question is more one of the basic capabilites of Nv/Nu/Suspended style
architecture. The precise details of the implementation (whether with
74Ac14's, '240s, 555 chips, whatever) and the amount of power required
ARE NOT relevant parameters.
I believe you've let yourself become sidetracked. You can worry about
the power once you've come up with a method that works.
