Subject: [alt-beam] Fan motors
A reasonably accessable source of motors are from old cpu heatsink fans.
Given that this is obvious, and that I havn't heard anyone talk about
them, I'm guessing they're no good for BEAM. I seem to recall them being
of the 12v variety, which would be a big blow to BEAM usefulness. Can
you get 5v versions or do they all plug into the 12v plugs?
Other than the voltage issue, they would seem to be efficient and small
and easily availible. Has anyone messed around with these?
