Button cells can be had with 500 maH capacities, but their designed
discharge
rate is very low, much lower than the demands of a walker or even
photovore.

These cells expect microampers of discharge current, then they will last
forever.
Draw even a faction of a milliamp, and the total energy delivered over
time begins to drop off very fast.

Powering a walker, your would be spending several bucks and hour with
button cells.

If you can find small Varta rechargable Ni-MHD button cells, you would
be doing much better! You would get nearly the same energy density, and
rechargability.
