This is a question for the leadership at large: wouldn't it be a better
design and somewhat more aesthetic to use alkaline button cells? They tend
to have a fair amount of charge available, you can easily find cell holders
for the thinner types and you don't (usually) have to worry about nasty
chemicals or metal cuts.
