Subject: [alt-beam] feedback
Hello,
I'm in the process of building a two-motor walker using a couple of
futoba servos and Tilden's H-Bridge circuits for motor drivers - it
seemed like the 245s drew too much current.
My question is regarding feedback. I was under the impression that BEAM
machines dynamically manouver their way around the environment, yet in
most of the robots I've seen the motors are totally isolated from the
microcore with no feedback allowed.
I was thinking of using some kind of a current mirror, but I'd like to
hear what sort of schemes people have experimented with.
Did Tilden's Walkman have feedback characterstics???
thanks for your help,
Thomas.
