Subject: [alt-beam] reverser, working but not well

hi, I am just finishing my uCore and I have everything wired up, and it
works, but the one motor I have wired up through the reverser doesn't have
enough power to run, the other is fine though. I have the 74HC244 reverser
wired directly before the 245 motor drivers. the 244 also gets fairly hot
after a little while. I am running it off 4 AA batteries. I don't know why
this chip gets hot and all the others don't. any help/suggestions would be
great.
