Subject: [alt-beam] Two Motor Walker

Dear LIST;
Just wanted to say that I have completed my 2 motor
walker.....it's alive!!..it's alive!!!.:)))...I got into abit of a
problem concerning the drift on the front legs. But I corrected it using
springs from a pen.I tried to use some potentiometer to adjust the drift
but it is not working. So, any other idea besides the spring and
potentiometer? And about cutting the potentiometer of the servo..or
something like that...cant figure that out without any diagram..sorry!
It seems that my walker front leg motor is horizontal to the
ground while the back legs motor is perpendicular to the ground(about
60-80deg)..so I am wondering whether this orientation is suitable for
further complex design.I know that last few weeks ago somebody mention
the motor orientation opposite of what I am doing..oh yes, my walker
walks alright..but the back legs seems to drag along and not lifting
like the front...any suggestion??Yes, I am using some thick flexible
copper wire for the legs.I am using servo motor BUT I have discard the
potentiometer...:(
So, got my microcore working, built the walker, what
next??Thanks.
