My idea (though it's only on paper right now) is one shared by some
others: an aquabot that has two hulls, each run by a separate solar
engine, each hull with a solar cell facing up and outward, connected to
the opposite SE. This way, it'll be a phototropic underwater photovore,
that will stay floating, or if it's neutrally buoyant (don't ask me how
to make that happen), wherever it is in the water. Other than that, I
don't know, but if you check out Ian Bernstein's page at
http://come.to/BEAMcentral, you can see (after a little scouting around)
a very cool aquabot project. You should check it out.
Signing off,
Rob Rix
